2024 Annual meeting
January 20, 21 and 22
Important information regarding the January, 2024, IAO meeting in San Diego.
Presentations will begin on Saturday, January 20th in the early afternoon and conclude on Monday evening, January 22nd. This shift is due to the fact that the hotel is sold out on Tuesday for another meeting. The Pendry has rooms available Friday through Monday to accommodate us. Please email Kevin Schou at “Kevin@ocularconcepts.com” if you need a room for Friday night and are unable to manage thru the link as he may need to adjust the room block. PLEASE BOOK as soon as possible but no later than August 28th. The Board is hopeful that this shift allows return to your offices quickly to reduce time away, yet providing dynamic new and informative information in an environment perfect for education and interaction.

We are finalizing the meeting program and it will be published in it’s entirety very soon. Keep a lookout in your email and the IAO website. Current presentations include topics covering Contemporary management of facial paralysis, Exposure risks and realities of infectious diseases for the ocularist, Non-surgical management of micro- and anophthalmia to name a few. The negotiated room rate for meeting attendees is $289.00 Single/Double Occupancy per nite, an amazing price if you have looked at hotel rates recently, often being twice that. Based upon hotel availability, that same room rate is available for three days prior and post meeting.
